The new map of the living Swiss traditions is available

The Federal Office of Culture has created six brochures presenting 167 living traditions of Switzerland in form of a map. The maps are illustrated by the artist Albin Christen.

So far the maps for summer, winter, spring and autumn have been published. Starting from now on, the new map “Life in community” is available. The map is obtainable in Switzerland’s major towns (culture hubs, cinemas, theatres, etc.) and in most local tourist offices.

You can order the cards by email (tradition@bak.admin.ch) mentioning your postal address, stating the number of copies and the preferred language. The map is available in German, French and Italian.

A sixth map will be published in the coming months.
